Originally established in 1975 by Dr. Glenn McDowell VMD, Bayville Veterinary Hospital has served pet owners in Bayville and the surrounding areas for over 40 years. Our main focus is to work with you to provide quality veterinary care for your pet at the best value possible. This has helped foster a strong relationship between our hospital and the community which results in our pets staying as healthy and as happy as possible
Our veterinarians and their team offer their wealth of experience in veterinary care for both healthy animals, in order to keep them that way, and for sick animals who need treatment with care and compassion. We treat our clients' animals the way we would want our animals treated.
Dr. McDowell joined Bayville Veterinary Hospital in 2015. Daughter of Dr. Glenn McDowell, she is excited about fulfilling her dream of taking over the family practice and continuing to care for the area's pets for the next generation. She graduated in 2014 from the prestigious Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, United Kingdom and then returned to New Jersey and completed an Internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls. Her time was spent between working up difficult cases on a referral basis as well as dealing with emergencies and critical care patients. Having experienced the latest techniques and advances in veterinary medicine, she brings her expertise to the practice.
Dr. Lenton was born and raised near Liverpool, England. In 2007, he received a Masters degree in Physics and then received his veterinary degree in 2014 from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland. He then worked at a busy small animal practice in north Jersey before joining Bayville Veterinary Hospital in 2017.
